Help The Haiti Relief Situation

It could happen to you…

This week Haiti was rocked by a massive earthquake that has killed over 50,000 people.  Supplies are scarce and they need our help.  I realize that not everyone will be able to help out but I am asking all of you to do one of the following.

1.  Pray

We all need to pray that families will locate and find loved ones that are missing in Haiti.  We need to pray that food and medical supplies reach those who are in need.  We need to pray that a country of millions can be put back together.

2.  Donote

I know that not everyone can help out with this, but for those you who can please give.  There are children and families in Haiti who do not have shelter much less food.  There are injured who do not have medical supplies.  It could be as little as $1 but that $1 can go along ways to helping someone in need.  Below you will find a few great organizations in which you can lend a hand.

3.  Blog

A lot of you write on your own blogs.  Use that to help out.  Reaching just one person and convincing them to help the effort is a start.  Talk about how you are helping the effort in Haiti and come back here and link your stories.  For each person who links their story in a comment I will be donating $1.00 to the American Red Cross relief fund.

If you do not have a blog then leave a comment on this post.  For each person who leaves a post on how they have supported the relief efforts I will donate $0.10 up to a $300 maximum.

For those of you who have blogged about this tragedy please make sure you not only leave your link but that you also visit all the other sites and link to them also.  The more money we can raise the better the situation will end up.

Join me to help make a difference to those in need.
