Giveaway: Around The Table Games

Beth Daniels the creator of Around the Table games grew up listen to her grandparents tell stories of their life and it really helped her to learn more about herself. In life today most families find it hard to find the time to sit down and talk to each other because of busy schedules.

Daniels created a game that would help change all of this and get families to learn more about each other.

I am giving away one set of this game which includes: Family Talk, Grandparent talk, Teen Talk and Buddy Talk.

If you would like to learn more about the Around the Table line of game fee free to visit http://www.aroundthetablegames.com.

to make sure to find time to family connect, we radomly write up questions , shuffle them a bit , read them out and then we have an answer session, very informal just at the kitchen counter but it keeps us in the loop with each and puts no one on the hook, it is very neutral, easy and fun

Things we do to bring the family together is somewhat limited with our sons age but we still try plenty, and continue more as he gets older. We will go to the park or lake ect and enjoy time togetehr as a family outdoors. We love to have snow days outside then warm up together of hot cocoa. My husband and I love to play cards and board games, especially Monopoly and Chess. We all also enjoy being together in the kitchen.

Our family always eats supper together, no matter how late my husband gets home (we snack & wait on him). My daughter is really into board games right now, so we’re doing alot of those. And, every night before bath, there’s a very loud game of “chase/hide&seek” b/c that’s my son’s favoite game at the moment.

    One more thing- sorry
My family consists of myself, my hubby, and my 3 year old. Our few hours with him at night are precious and fly by. So each night we try to each spend quality time together and each of us with him one on one. I am a strong believer in sitting together-it creates an atmosphere of unity, peace, and openness. I hope this will continue for a long time!

I’ve just turned a corner of my family room into the game area, with cushions on a tumbling mat. Most nights my kids ask me if we can play a game, which I am usually happy to do. It helps to have a place that is for this purpose.
